Graham has a much larger skull intended to absorb forces and fracture upon impact to better protect the brain. His ribs extend up high around the face and also have a layer of external air sacs to prevent internal injury. His entire frame is covered by much thicker skin than the average human in order to prevent lacerations.<\/p>\n
Graham’s creators didn’t stop there. In addition to considering what could happen to him as a driver or passenger in a car, they also thought about how he would survive a collision with a car as a pedestrian. Graham’s ankles were constructed with an extra joint to increase his mobility in case he needs to spring out of the way of an oncoming car. His knees are also incredibly flexible in case of an impact.<\/p>\n
