There have already been reports of burn injuries  and fires resulting in property damage, according to news reports.<\/p>\n<p>The heaters involved in the recall are:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>&#8220;Flow Pro,&#8221;<\/li>\n<li>&#8220;Airtech,&#8221;<\/li>\n<li>&#8220;Aloha Breeze&#8221;<\/li>\n<li>&#8220;Comfort Essentials&#8221;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The products were sold at Walmart stores nationwide for about approximately  $18 from December 2001 to October 2009, according to the U.S. Consumer  Product Safety Commission. They are all 1,500-watt electric heaters with  the model number 1013, which can be found on a label on the back panel.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;The heaters can malfunction and cause overheating, smoking, burning,  melting and fire. Wal-Mart has received 21 reports of incidents, it said.  Those included 11 reports of property damage beyond the heater, and four  injuries. Three people needed medical care for minor burns and smoke inhalation,&#8221;  according to news reports.<\/p>\n<p> As a North Charleston personal injury lawyer I urge consumers to check  their space heaters to find out if they have this recalled product.
