A U.S. Food and Drug Administration test found the  gum, which is imported from Pakistan, to contain trace levels of lead.<\/p>\n<p>The gum tested for lead at 0.189 parts per million; the FDA tolerance is 0.1 ppm.<\/p>\n<p>The recalled gum includes: Toxic Waste&reg; Short Circuits&trade; Bubble  Gum labeled with UPC 0 89894 31001 3). 3.2 oz (90 g) size, Lot #15070SC12  (the Lot # is located along the left side of the bag).<\/p>\n<p>So far no reports of injuries or food poising have been connected to the recall.<\/p>\n<p> As a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sinklaw.com\/charleston\/\" target=\"_self\" title=\"North Charleston personal injury lawyer\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">North Charleston personal injury lawyer<\/a>, I urge parents to check if their kids have this brand of gum and throw  it out or return it to the store of purchase for a full refund.
