His truck went off the road, down a nearby embankment and crashed into a patch of trees.<\/p>\n<p>When emergency crews arrived at the scene, they discovered the truck, with the driver trapped inside, hanging on the edge of a 30-foot drop into a ravine. Emergency personal used extrication equipment to get the driver out of the truck.<\/p>\n<p>He was flown to Greenville Hospital System, and was in serious condition as of 9 p.m. Thursday, according to news reports.<\/p>\n<p>It is unclear what caused the driver to crash into the embankment.
