Landen Shell had one birthday wish: to meet the man he\u2019d seen on TV. The man who captured the now 4-year-old\u2019s heart wasn\u2019t a famous actor, sports star or cartoon hero: it was attorney George Sink.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt all started when my son saw George\u2019s commercials. Ever since then, Landen has been all about George Sink\u201d said Landen\u2019s mother, Daniette Shell. I asked my son, \u201cLanden what type of party do you want?\u201d He didn\u2019t hesitate \u201cI want a George Sink party with all 9s.\u201d 999-9999 is the phone number Mr. Sink uses for his law practice, George Sink Injury Lawyers<\/a>, in South Carolina and Georgia.<\/p>\n

Not everyone was on board with a lawyer-themed children\u2019s party, at least not at first. Landen\u2019s grandmother said \u201cA George Sink Party? Get out of here. That\u2019s no party for a kid!\u201d but then she spoke with Landen and Landen\u2019s mother. She could see the passion little Landen had for celebrating his birthday with a George Sink party. Landen\u2019s mom said: \u201cNo, really, he\u2019s serious about it!\u201d That\u2019s when Landen\u2019s grandmother knew she had to make the call and ask for George Sink\u2019s help.<\/p>\n

When Mr. Sink got the call he loved the idea of joining Landen to celebrate. \u201cI was honored. I was moved.\u201d \u201cThere\u2019s nothing better than making a child\u2019s day.\u201d Mr. Sink said \u201cI couldn\u2019t wait to meet Landen and wish him a happy 4th birthday!\u201d<\/p>\n

Landen\u2019s mother got George Sink cupcakes for the kids and giant \u201call 9s\u201d balloons. The law firm supplied gifts for the kids \u2013 backpacks, water bottles, T-shirts, signed pictures of Mr. Sink \u2013 and even little red ties, like attorney Sink wears, for the kids. Landen loved it. Landen got to play lawyer George Sink and eat \u201call 9s\u201d cake, which is exactly what he wanted on his special day.<\/p>\n

Only one thing could have made it better, a visit from his idol, attorney George Sink. Little Landen was overjoyed to see his hero in person, jumping up into his arms and yelling \u201cGeorge Sink!\u201d with joy.<\/p>\n

Landen\u2019s mom, Daniette Shell, said \u201cI am happy George could make it. He really did make Laden\u2019s birthday wish come true.\u201d Landen said \u201cthank you, George Sink!\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cThe party was a great success.\u201d said George Sink Sr. \u201cI was just happy I could wish him a happy birthday in person.\u201d \u201cI wanted to show up because it\u2019s just touching, it\u2019s heartwarming, and I wanted to be here. It makes me happy to know that I made Landen\u2019s 4th birthday one that he\u2019ll always remember.\u201d said George Sink, Sr.<\/p>\n
