If the engine is hot, the fluid could spark a fire, especially in a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sinklaw.com\/blog\/category\/auto-accidents\/\">car accident<\/a> .<\/p>\n<p>The manufacturer has not reported any incidents or accidents associated with the faulty part. The issue was discovered at the Yokohama Hydex America testing facility in South Carolina when the pressure hoses separated at the crimped end of the assembly during multiple tests.<\/p>\n<p>The open recall should begin by the end of October, according to a <a href=\"https:\/\/cars.usnews.com\/cars-trucks\/daily-news\/101021-chrysler-recalls-over-26-000-vehicles\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">news article<\/a> .<\/p>\n<p>As a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sinklaw.com\/\" target=\"_self\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"> North Charleston personal injury attorney<\/a> , I&#8217;m glad the South Carolina car testing lab discovered the problem before car owners experienced any danger.
