\/>5.\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0A &#8220;wrong&#8221; feeling&#8221; &#8211; An awareness of an indescribable awkwardness when instigating a movement such as taking a first step or rising from a chair.<br \/>6.\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0Decreased flexibility &#8211; Stiffness, awkward movement, or inability to perform normal movements, such as climbing stairs.<br \/>7.\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0Fatigue and decreased stamina &#8211; Normal activities become tiring as patient is working harder to overcome failing device, possibly without realizing it.<br \/>8.\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0Noises emanating from the hip &#8211; Squeaking, while a common sound in a normal-functioning hip, can also signify a degrading prosthetic.<br \/>9.\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0Inflammation or swelling at the implant site &#8211; One of the later symptoms, signifying advanced deterioration.<br \/>10.\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0No symptoms &#8211; Sometimes x-rays or recalls of prosthetic are the only ways a patient knows they have a failing
