If a table saw from Home Depot was on Dad’s Christmas list this year, make sure it is not being recalled.<\/p>\n

One World Technologies is recalling its Ryobi RTS20 portable table-saws, in cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission, because the blade could misalign and cause laceration hazards. Approximately 21,500 units are affected by the recall, which was announced Tuesday.<\/p>\n

“This recall involves the RTS20 Ryobi ten-inch, portable table-saw. The table saw has a blue base and warning label with the model RTS20 and the Ryobi name printed on it and attached to the rear of the saw,” according to the CPSC news release.<\/p>\n

One person has reported being struck by a piece of metal while using the saw, however the injury is not believed to be related to the misaligned blade.<\/p>\n

The saws were sold at Home Depot retail outlets for about $200 in the U.S. and Canada between July 2010 and October 2010, according to news reports.<\/p>\n
