Review the travel plan with your family and friends, and let others who are not traveling with you know where you will be, in case there is an emergency.<\/li>\n<li><b>Make sure you are well rested <\/b>&#8211; The night before your road trip, make sure everyone get&#8217;s at least 6-8 hours of healthy sleep, especially anyone who may be driving.
